Why play indoor lacrosse? Indoor lacrosse is having a huge impact on the landscape of the sport as a whole. Indoor players are consistently being recruited to play at the highest levels of collegiate field lacrosse. The tight confines, smaller nets, and fast pace combine to develop a broader skill set. Players at all levels will enhance their stick skills, creativity, and shooting accuracy. Indoor lacrosse is an extremely valuable experience for players and helps lay the groundwork for a successful Spring season.

What is indoor lacrosse? Indoor lacrosse is played between two teams of six players each (5 runners and 1 goalie). Indoor lacrosse is a stick skills-based game with rules that severely punish open field hits, hits from behind, take-out checks, man/ball loose ball techniques, and stick swinging defensive techniques.

Goals are 4x4 feet and goalies are heavily padded, increasing the need for highly refined shooting skills. A 30-second shot clock demands quick thinking and creative plays as all 5 runners are allowed to run anywhere on the field. The offensive and defensive philosophies and techniques in indoor lacrosse rely heavily on players' ability to transition quickly between offense and defense.

Grades: 2-8 games are held between 2:30-6:30 sundays.
