SI Lacrosse strives to make participation available to all players, and is sensitive to families who otherwise may not be able to participate due to financial hardship.  A limited number of scholarships are available each season based on player need and current Club financial status. These scholarships are designed to be supplemental financial assistance and cover up to 50% of the player’s season program registration fee. Costs related to administration, equipment, tournament fees, camps, out of town travel, and required US Lacrosse membership are not covered by the scholarship awards and are the responsibility of the players and their families.

All applications for financial assistance are confidential and every player's scholarship status remains confidential.

Scholarships are granted at the discretion of the Club’s Board of Directors Scholarship Subcommittee which is comprised of the Club Treasurer, Registrar, Program Director, and President. The application deadline for spring season is January 16, 2023 and applicants will be notified of award decisions by January 23, 2022.

After January 23, 2023 applications will be considered based on available funds.

Scholarship recipients are encouraged to volunteer their time to the extent they are able and may be contacted by the scholarship subcommittee with special volunteer requests as needs arise.
